Why we love honoring our return policy.

We are proud of our generous 90-day no-risk return policy. The clock doesn’t start ticking until your new Soul Seat is delivered, and for the continental US, we’ll cover all return shipping costs as well if it turns out our products aren’t the right fit for you. Most folks know within a couple of weeks of focused sitting whether or not they’ll be keeping their Soul Seat.

We were recently surprised by a customer who chose to return theirs. The reason given was that the perch cushion was too soft.  Normally what we hear is that the perch is too small and too firm. We were intrigued!

On further inquiry, we learned that this customer wanted even greater feedback from the chair and subsequently discovered that what they really needed at their workstation was a completely flat bench, deep and wide enough to sit cross-legged and provide even more feedback and leverage through their hips than the Soul Seat provides.

We were thrilled to hear this and told the customer that they had made our day! The customer commented, “I was NOT expecting that response :).”

Two people sitting on Soul Seat chairs

You may be thinking, don’t we want to sell chairs? Certainly! But selling our Soul Seats is a means to a larger goal of reducing pain and increasing focus at work. This customer discovered that they could accomplish the goal of bringing floor sitting up to their workstation. They and Ikaria Design Co. have the same goal, and we’re thrilled every time we hear that someone has designed that solution into their life.

We’ve often said that the only product we compete with is the floor. If you can bring your work to the floor, and/or bring the benefits of floor sitting up to your workspace, then our purpose is fulfilled and we are eager to share how you did it with others.

If you find yourself pulling your ankles up wherever you sit, we encourage you to not hesitate and order a Soul Seat or Flow Desk today. The sooner you order, the sooner you’ll have an answer about how much balanced focus awaits you at work. The only downside to owning a Soul Seat is that it may increase your frustration with conventional chairs even more. One of the upsides our customers have regularly reported is that we may have ruined conventional sitting for them, and made them even more intolerant of chairs with armrests, but they’re also pleased with all the new locations for sitting their renewed mobility has opened up for them.

Either way, we’ve taken care of the risk side of the decision. If you have questions about how the Soul Seat or Flow Desk might work for you, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We’re looking forward to hearing from you.
