Personal identification information
We may collect personal identification information from Users in a variety of ways, including, but not limited to, when Users visit our site, register on the site, place an order, fill out a form, respond to a survey, and/or subscribe to the newsletter and in connection with other activities, services, features or resources we make available on our Site. Users may be asked for, as appropriate, name, email address, mailing address, phone number, and credit card information. Users may, however, visit our Site anonymously.
We will collect personal identification information from Users only if they voluntarily submit such information to us. Users can always refuse to supply personally identification information, except that it may prevent them from engaging in certain Site related activities. This information may also include details about your use of this website, including: clicks, internal links, pages visited, scrolling, searches, and timestamps. We share this information with Squarespace, our website analytics provider, to learn about site traffic and activity.
Non-personal identification information
We may collect non-personal identification information about Users whenever they interact with our Site. Non-personal identification information may include the browser name, the type of computer and technical information about Users means of connection to our Site, such as the operating system and the Internet service providers utilized and other similar information.
Emails
Abandoned cart emails: You’ll receive an automated email within 24 hours after you abandon your shopping cart, if all of the following occur:
You enter your email address at checkout, or are logged into your Customer Account.
You add a product which is in stock to your shopping cart.
You close your browser or leave this website without completing your purchase.
You can unsubscribe from these messages at the bottom of the email.
The email will link back to this website, where you can pick up where you left off and complete your purchase.
Marketing emails: We may send you marketing emails, which you can unsubscribe from by clicking the link at the bottom of the email. We share your contact information with Mailchimp, our email marketing provider, so they can send these emails on our behalf.
Order and account emails: We may email you with messages about your order or account activity. For example, we may email you to tell you that:
You’ve created a Customer Account
Your Customer Account password has been reset or updated
You’ve made a purchase
Your order has shipped
It’s not possible to unsubscribe from these messages.
We share your contact information with Squarespace, our website hosting provider, so they can send these emails to you on our behalf.
Gift Certificates
Gift certificates are redeemable for merchandise only at Ikaria Design Company and have no expiration date. They may not be returned or redeemed for cash.
BuyBack Promise Terms & Conditions
If a customer wishes to sell their used Soul Seat and/or Flow Desk back to Ikaria Design Company, they must follow all instructions and first complete the BuyBack Submission Form. Our team will then evaluate their submission and provide an initial estimate of payment via email based on their description and photos of their Soul Seat or Flow Desk.
The customer will then be responsible for safely shipping their Soul Seat or Flow Desk to us in Columbia, MO 65201 within 30 days of the original estimate. We reserve the right to amend our initial estimate upon physical inspection of the item. After completing the physical inspection, our team will email the customer again with a final payment decision based on the following criteria:
Payment based on the condition of the item(s):
50% of original purchase price: Like New (no scratches, blemishes, tears, stains, etc.)
40% of original purchase price: Gently Used (light wear, such as some scratches, blemishes, stains, or tears, etc.)
30% of original purchase price: Well-Loved (several scratches, blemishes, stains, or tears, etc.)
The customer will then get to choose how they wish to receive payment: either receive a mailed check, payment via PayPal, or store credit in the form of an Ikaria Design Company gift certificate. If the customer chooses to receive a gift certificate, they will receive an additional 10%. (Ex: a gift certificate for 60% of the original purchase price rather than 50%.)
The customer must be able to provide proof of the original purchase. Ikaria Design Company is not obligated to accept your used Soul Seat or Flow Desk if it does not meet our criteria or match the description provided in the submission form. Likewise, the customer is not obligated to return their Soul Seat or Flow Desk to us if they are not satisfied with the payment estimate provided by our team.
All items purchased from our Revived Shop (as well as Demo Soul Seats) will be eligible for a maximum payment of 40% of the original purchase price since they were already classified as Gently Used when purchased.
Currently, we are only buying back products from within the continental United States.
Only Flow Desks and Soul Seats are eligible to be sold back to us. We will not buy back any accessories such as Slipcovers or T-shirts.

Our Site may use "cookies" to enhance User experience. User's web browser places cookies on their hard drive for record-keeping purposes and sometimes to track information about them. User may choose to set their web browser to refuse cookies, or to alert you when cookies are being sent. If they do so, note that some parts of the Site may not function properly.

Ikaria Design Company, LLC (formerly Health By Design, LLC) collects and uses Users personal information for the following purposes:
To improve customer service: Your information helps us to more effectively respond to your customer service requests and support needs.
To personalize user experience: We may use information in the aggregate to understand how our Users as a group use the services and resources provided on our Site.
To improve our Site: We continually strive to improve our website offerings based on the information and feedback we receive from you.
To process transactions: We may use the information Users provide about themselves when placing an order only to provide service to that order. We do not share this information with outside parties except to the extent necessary to provide the service.
To send periodic emails: The email address Users provide for order processing, will only be used to send them information and updates pertaining to their order. It may also be used to respond to their inquiries, and/or other requests or questions. If User decides to opt-in to our mailing list, they will receive emails that may include company news, updates, related product or service information, etc. If at any time the User would like to unsubscribe from receiving future emails, we include detailed unsubscribe instructions at the bottom of each email or User may contact us via our Site.
How we protect your information
We adopt appropriate data collection, storage and processing practices and security measures to protect against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure or destruction of your personal information, username, password, transaction information and data stored on our Site.
Sensitive and private data exchange between the Site and its Users happens over a SSL secured communication channel and is encrypted and protected with digital signatures. Our Site is also in compliance with PCI vulnerability standards in order to create as secure of an environment as possible for Users.
