Thank you to everyone that helped make our latest launch a reality.
We are thrilled that we’ve finally arrived at the introduction of our newest product offering, the Bamboo Soul Seat with Auto-Adjust Perch! This product launch has been a couple of years in the making, and it has only been possible because of the continued desire of our customers, the expertise of several local engineers, and the ingenuity of our wood/bamboo crafters.
Our customers (and myself included) have had the wish to be able to adjust the Soul Seat perch on the fly without breaking focus on our work. How to do this without exposing our clothes to greasy pistons as well as using our existing cushions and bamboo legs was quite a challenge.
The folks at Pertech LLC, Ethan Marshall and Justin Eikel, helped us develop the earliest prototypes after seeing my clunky mock-ups. Nick Spaeder, whose mastery you see in our bamboo legs and Flow Desks, devised a way to alter existing cushions so we can give you all the color choices you’ve come to love.
Hannah did a wonderful job producing our launch page and making sure the backend was going to work. We also relied on a number of customers who were eager to be beta testers of the early prototype versions.
Our local Walt’s Bike Shop even got involved by helping us source the gas cylinders that have proven themselves in mountain bike dropper posts. Service Manager Mark Bendel has been a go-to source of advice from my earliest inventions.
From the start, the Soul Seat has been a community effort. Our customers provide us with frank and creative feedback, and our local talent manages to bring our dreams to life.
Stayed tuned, as we anticipate that Soul Seat on wheels will be the next one to share the Auto-Adjust Perch by mid-summer!
