Find Your Fit: Auto-Adjust or Manual Perch Adjustment?
How do you choose between the auto-adjust and manual perch adjustments for your Soul Seat?
Auto-Adjust:
The auto-adjust perch uses a gas cylinder, and allows you to effortlessly adjust the height of your perch cushion on the fly, without having to get off of your Soul Seat.
To raise the perch, simply engage the lever - the perch will rise automatically. To lower, engage the lever and press the cushion down.
The auto-adjust swivels, for even more movement and fidget opportunities, but can be locked in place with our Locking Flange accessory.
The perch’s height range is 3”-8.5” above the butterfly cushion.
Manual:
The manual perch is our original design, using a steel Set Pin and Set Screw to hold the perch post in place.
To adjust the perch, loosen the three-sided set screw attached to the base nearly all the way out and remove the set pin. Lower or raise the perch's support post until you reach your desired height. Re-insert the set pin, pushing it in as far as it allows. Tighten the set screw to secure the perch to the base.
The manual perch does not swivel, so it stays stationary as you shift through postures.
The perch’s height range is 3”-8” above the butterfly cushion.
