A Thank You From Our Founder

During this season of giving thanks, we at Ikaria Design Company are feeling deep gratitude for all of you who chose an unconventional path and brought a Soul Seat into your life.

From the teachers providing more focus to their students to the photographers, journalists, animators, graphic artists, and writers staying the course with less distraction from pain, to the physicians, researchers, and therapists who are finding they pay a smaller price for their often sedentary jobs, to the parents helping their students perform better at their studies, you have all benefited personally from your choice.

What you may not know is how much of a hero you are to us. We hear every day about how choices such as yours have given others permission to “sit weird”, particularly folks that can’t purchase a Soul Seat at this time. You are the leading edge of a growing global community that is validating healthy sitting choices for others.

We would also like you to know that you have helped to create a whole new category of seating. Much as Xerox and Kleenex became the catch-all names for whole categories of products, Soul Seat is now standing in for the search term “cross-legged office chair”. Thank you for being a founding pioneer of Soul Seaters.
